If there is one thing that chefs all around the world are agreeing with, is that this Bradley model can safely be crowned as one of the current best electric smokers. It is ideal for hot and cool smoking and will prepare everything you throw at it flawlessly. The control board on this thing is packed with features to help you achieve the perfect result and all that without having to refuel it for quite some time. Speaking of refueling, this unit is not strictly electric as it burns pellets to achieve its smoke, but it still only works when connected to the power grid, so we can put it into the same category as the other electric models.

Features That Make It Stand Out

The most important thing to say about this model is that it literally does everything for you, or as people in the industry say it is the best “set and forget” smoker out there. It will smoke everything perfectly even if you haven’t done any type of smoking before. It comes in two size variations – four and six racks. Both of them can hold tons of meat, and most importantly you can remove those racks to make place for turkey, beer-chicken, and all other sorts of meat cuts.

You will notice that there is an automatic pellet loader on the side of the smoker. It loads a bisquette in the heater in a continuous way so that there is always smoke coming out of it. Each of the bisquettes will burn for nearly 20 minutes before the smoker will need another one. Without you lifting a finger, there are enough of those for the smoker to last 8 hours on its own. Once they are done, you will have to recharge it. It is ideal if buy bisquettes when you’re buying the smoker itself, as you will most likely run out of those quite fast.

Having such mechanisms is one of the advantages of owning an electric cooker, which will make your life easier and most importantly – more delicious. You can find more on that topic in our Buyer’s Guide.

The smoker generator deserves a little more attention in our opinion. It allows for both hot and cold smoking, which sets the BTDS108P apart from any other smoker out there. Combine that with the well-insulated interior and you get the perfect outdoor BBQ tool.

Since we understand that the price can be a little hard to swallow, there are cheaper alternatives which will get the job done with a satisfactory quality. Such is the Landmann USA Smoky Mountain.

Bradley BTDS108P Conclusion and Rating

Cook Out Pal.com Product Rating: (5/5)

Even if you are now starting to get into smoking meat, this is still the perfect model for you, no matter the price. Also, it is incredibly sturdy and has shown no signs of failing or breaking down even after years of continuous use.
